The Experimentory at Deerfield Academy
A four-week summer program for students entering seventh and eighth grade, the Experimentory allows students to delve into project-based, interdisciplinary learning.
Students explore music, technology, communications, architecture, and more! Rather than teaching these areas as isolated courses, the Experimentory focuses on the intersection of subjects, honing observation skills, fostering new forms of creativity, and developing new methods for looking at the world.
Outside of the classroom, students engage in activities geared to inspire leadership and collaboration. They also take their learning further afield with a series of day trips to explore locales around Massachusetts.
