DA at DU Hockey 11/2/2019!

To celebrate the recent relocation to Denver of two members of the Deerfield family from the decade of the 80s, we rallied some Deerfield Club of the Rockies compadres and attended a Denver University hockey game. The Denver Pioneers continued their winning ways, the group had a lot of laughs and the next event was schemed for February 2020.  Stay tuned for all the details!  Welcome Scott Aiges '81 and Marcus Yoder '88!

DA cheers on Sullivans as DU rolls

Another great win for Denver University Men's Lacrosse (they beat St. John's 15-6) on April 14 as a gaggle of Deerfield alumni and friends from the Rocky Mountains cheered them on.

Thanks to all the alumni who made the game - pictured LtoR: John Knight '83, Jamie Luckenbill '03, Henry Beyer '86, Tony Sokolow '71 and Don Hindman '83.  Not pictured but attended were Jack Rand '65 and Peter Heidekuper '67.
It was also great to see the Sullivan family (Tuscon, AZ) again now that both of their Deerfield graduate sons are at Denver University and on the lacrosse team. Great to have Chris '16 and Ted '17 at DU for us to cheer on for a few more years!

Not cold nor snow nor sleet....

Never mind the weather! DU's final regular season men's lacrosse game was a thrilling 14-11 win by the Pioneers. We practiced our tailgating skills to be ready for our first Deerfield graduate to join the team next Spring. We have the basics down and just need some more participants next year.
